Who we are

Frankly Tarot is operated by Digitalthread (placeholder operating name; not a registered company). Contact: [email protected].

What this app is

A reflection journal that uses tarot as one input. Readings are not predictions, medical advice, or therapy. Generated text is produced by an AI model.

What we collect

• Account: email and authentication data when you sign up.
• Profile: optional details you enter (for example birth data if you use a deeper reading).
• Your content: questions, readings, threads, history, and feedback text.
• Photos: only if you attach an image to feedback.
• Waitlist: email if you join from this website (separate from an app account).

We do not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Who processes it

• Supabase — sign-in, database, file storage, and server functions.
• Anthropic — generates reading text from your question, cards, and any profile context you have stored. That content leaves our database and is sent to Anthropic to produce the reading.
• Cloudflare — this website and waitlist.
• Resend — transactional email (confirmations, feedback mail) from addresses on frankly-tarot.com.
• RevenueCat — subscription entitlements. When the purchases SDK is configured, it receives an app user id (the same id as your login). Purchase records when you subscribe through Apple.
• Apple — if you download from the App Store; purchase records if you subscribe.

Why

App functionality: so you can sign in, pull, and come back to a thread that remembers. We do not sell your readings. We do not use your journal for ads.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and reading data while the account exists. In the app, Profile → Delete account removes the login, readings, threads, profile, and files we stored for you. That is immediate. Waitlist email is a separate list — write [email protected] to be taken off it. An App Store subscription, if you have one, is cancelled in Apple’s subscription settings, not by deleting the account.

Children

Frankly is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13.
